Oh, for the love of Pete.

I want America back. I really, really do. I want America taken back from the fundies who seem to be running the show. I want America taken back from those who want to teach "Intelligent Design" as a valid "scientific" theory. I want America taken back from the dicks who insist on linking unrelated events in an attempt to market justify a war.

I support the troops. I have friends in the military. But, there is a HUGE difference between criticizing an administration that seems to be ignoring the facts at hand and hoping that Americans die in Iraq. No one wants anyone to die. Except Pat Robertson and Fred Phelps, of course. They want people to die.

Is this what it was like in the 1960s? Did the whole world feel this shitty? I mean, I don't like hippies because they smell bad and listen to shitty music, not because of their political ideologies. Smell and taste in music are tangible qualities, dammit.
