You're shitting me. NO ONE wants to donate spare computer time to scientific research?
Y'all are bitches. --- I think that I am in love with the cinematography in Wes Anderson's movies. Not his cinematographer, but the cinematography itself. I lack the correct words to describe it accurately, but Ima try anyway. It's reminiscent of what we were seeing just after French New Wave -- not so much the bold colors and canted camera, but with close-ups of actors actually being zoom shots. The way his shots are framed remind me of Kubrick's framing techniques. Anderson seems to strive for mostly realisitc performances, but places his actors in tableaux, which makes things artificial, but more reallistic-feeling, if that makes sense. If you haven't seen "The Royal Tennenbaums" or "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" yet, you need to change that post-haste. Lovely soundtracks, some of the best work Bill Murray has ever done, Owen Wilson... Get out and see those films. Along with "Rushmore" and "Bottle Rocket". Comments by: YACCS |
