So, Viacom is closing Nickelodeon Studios in the Universal Studios theme park in Orlando.

I was there once. Took the tour. Was THIS CLOSE to Melissa Joan Hart, seperated only by a glass wall and about 100 feet of indoor studio space. She was doing homework. I think that we made some sort of connection.

I was in Florida for my high school's music trip. 1993. The summer that nothing sucked. Seriously -- nothing about that summer sucked.

I had a blast in Florida, hung out with people that I'd never hung out with before, and didn't after. Bought a fez and a clapboard. I was still going to make my movies. Movies on par with "Jurassic Park" and "The Firm", which both came out that year.

"Creep" by Radiohead came out. "Are You Gonna Go My Way" by Lenny Kravitz came out. Alternative music was still awesome.

I don't know where I was going with this. Apart from saying that 1993 had the best summer ever. EVER.
