Do I, next Thursday, go and see Matthew Sweet at Sokol Underground, or do I go to Shithook? The case for Matt Sweet: -- He's a great pop-rock songwriter. --He recorded Girlfriend, one of the finest albums of the 1990s. --I will not be disapponted. The case for Shithook: --Instead of watching a rock star, I can BE a rock star. --Going to Shithook might result in me getting a girlfriend. And, I am not kidding. --I will have a great time.
