It finally happened.
I've been waiting tables for (longer than I meant to) awhile now. I was propositioned at work. Of course, this wasn't a proposition from a comely young lass. Oh, no. This is not how my luck works. I do have some sort of karma when it comes to tips, but not when it comes to women. I know that I have problems dealing with the fairer sex (with people in general) , but I hope that I am not invisible. I don't really know how to make myself 'visible' to females. I don't know how to advertize that I AM AVAILABLE AND LOOKING. Femmes have it easier and harder than guys. While they do have to fend off unwanted attention, at the same time, they don't really have to work to get guys. (To quote Mike Skinner, you're fit, but you know it.) Guys have it tougher, imho. (Feel free to call me on bullshit if you want.) Went and saw The Terminals tonight. Great show. But, all the scenester gals were hooked up with the scenester guys. I don't really qualify as a scenester, but, there were some cute chicks there. I just don't know how to advertize. 'Cept to dudes, apparently. Any hints would be appreciated. Any pointers, any tips, anything like that. ('Specially from females. Cuz dudes are clueless.) I think that's all I've got. Comments by: YACCS |
