A Short Play, Pt. 2

Grant: What?
Chad: That's right. You'd be dead to me.
Grant: How's that work?
Chad: You've done nothing for the last year or so but talk about how you want to get into the recording industry. About how you just want a job at a studio. About how you just want to work with sound. And, you're gonna let a little setback like "physics" and "math" keep you from your goal? Fuck you. You've let too many of your dreams go. You wanted to be a filmmaker. Where'd that go?
Grant: Ummmm...
Chad: That's what I thought. You let that dream die.
Grant: It's not dead...
Chad: So, what are you doing about it? Nothing. That's what I thought. You're not adapting those screenplays from novels. You're not doing anything. So, that dream is dead. It will never be acheived. Maybe in your mind, but not in reality. So, are you going to let this dream die?
Grant: ...
Chad: So help me, if you do, you fucking suck.
