Things are better and happier today.
My funks are rarely something to become concerned about. I get all boohoohoo and down and dumpy and hugneeding, and then it stops being that way. Sometimes I write shit down, sometimes I just watch TV. Things are better today because of 2 things, for sure. 1) The latest issue of The Onion. The other reason is that I got the new They Might Be Giants album today. One of the most strangely complex alternapop bands ever. Their name is optimistic and paranoid. Mink Car isn't as accessible as Flood, but for geeks with a musical memory, it's great. Or grate, as the twee folk spell it. "Cyclops Rock" is a tribute to The Pixies, and "I've Got A Fang" sounds like Morphine. I am addicted to "Man, It's So Loud In Here". Sounds like New Order, but happier.
